As a Wharton MBA (WG'95) and an alumni interviewer, Mr. Gordin, over the last decade, has guided dozens of top candidates to successful MBA and joint degree admissions. In his primary business role, Mr. Gordin is an international merchant banking professional with over 25 years of experience providing services in the areas of export finance, risk mitigation, cross-border project finance and business development. His clients include foreign governments, state-owned enterprises, small and mid-size companies, as well as select Fortune 500 cos. He is also a published author, whose book Fluent In foreign Business and numerous articles on international business have been critically acclaimed.

Transforming a country’s financial sector, bringing a family’s business to life or supporting disabled children as a founder of a charity fund – indeed, my clients’ aspirations can be very different, but all of them are united by a strong willingness to acquire knowledge and skills necessary to make their dreams come true. Hence my goal as an Application Consultant at MBA Strategy is to discover their treasures myself and make them shining for the world’s leading business schools’ admissions committees. This is what drives me to do as much as I can to achieve the desired results and help talented individuals to mount new heights.

My path to MBA Strategy was long. I did many things before: translated books from German, assisted Philippine entrepreneurs to conquer Russian market, taught English to Cambodian kids and many others. Having moved to Moscow, I met MBA Strategy team. Back then, my inner sense prompted it was my team and my company. Since then my consultant’s work brings me something new to learn every day. My clients’ stories, with their joyful or tragic experiences, keeps me thinking. What inspired me most as a consultant is witnessing my clients as alumni of top schools, who move forward and really change the world right in my sight.

Before MBA Strategy everything was set clearly up in my life, with stable business and good reputation among numerous clients. At 40, however, enjoying my calm and secured professional path seemed to be not enough for me. I turned to new opportunities and become an MBA consultant at MBA Strategy. Priya is a full-time GMAT and GRE instructor/tutor with 99th% scores, an extensive background in teaching (11 years experience) and a track-record of success. She takes immense satisfaction in helping her students excel!
Her experience includes teaching the Manhattan and Veritas curricula, editing Official Guide questions for GMAC, writing GMAT Quant questions, designing curricula and teaching GMAT/GRE prep classes, and finally, coaching hundreds of students on all sections of the GMAT and GRE one-on-one.
Priya earned a B.S. in Chemical Physics from the Rice University Honors Scholar Program, and taught college statistics and high school physics and math before transitioning into GMAT/GRE instruction full-time. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and cuddling with her 100-lb German Shepherd mix, Teddy.

Matthew Bailin has scored in at least the 95th percentile on the GMAT, SAT, ACT and GRE exams. Matthew is a state-certified math teacher and has a combined six years of classroom experience teaching test prep, AP Statistics and AP Calculus, debate, and competition math (Mathcounts) in live and online environments. Matthew has taught and mastered every section of the GMAT, SAT, ACT, and GRE, and has even authored his own ACT course! Matthew has served as a public school teacher in his hometown of Las Vegas, as has also taught in New York City and Dubai. Matthew estimates that he has worked with more than 1000 students on topics ranging from multivariable calculus to creative writing. Matthew has also won an essay contest on the poet Jorie Graham. Matthew is certified to teach all levels of math through Differential Equations, Physics, AP Writing and Composition, Essay Writing, GMAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, SHSAT, TOFEL, and competition math.
