MBA application season is running! Its pick traditionally refers to Round II period of December and January, though Round I is gaining its popularity.
There are several statistics that show updated data, and most of them the number of applicants, results of their applications’ screening, interview invitations and final decisions.
So, according to GMATClub Decision Tracker, which follows the results of the GMATCLub’s users self-reports, the list of Round I 2017-2018 champions include:

Chicago Booth
Columbia
MIT
Kellogg
Duke Fuqua
Yale
Stern
Columbia has the highest admissions rate, though the figures demonstrate an Early Admissions results for the candidates, who applied in August 2017. The largest number of the invited to interviews are by Harvard, Kellogg and Chicago Booth. The highest percent of “denied” decisions has been given to Harvard, Columbia and Duke Fuqua applicants.
Perhaps, the biggest surprise of this year’s Round I is the number of Harvard’s interview invitations, who offered interviews to 31 candidates out of 370 applied to its full-time MBA program. The same rate of invitations (around 10%) is kept by Kellogg, Columbia, Chicago and Yale. Whereas the lowest rate of invitations are demonstrated by Duke Fuqua and Tuck (around 5%). The business schools with the highest rate of interview invitations are:

Broad
According to the statistics, January intakes are traditionally underestimated by many applicants, though their admissions rate is very high: this year about 50% percent of MBA candidates have been either invited to interviews or already admitted to Columbia’s, HEC’s, IE’s and INSEAD’s January intakes. The data have traditionally confirmed that January intakes are not so popular among MBA candidates, and business schools are welcoming winter intakes’ applicants most warmly)
